_Kimberly McDonald, Simply Desserts

A few years ago, when Kimberly's youngest child was a senior in high school, she started to wonder how she was going to fill her days once her child left for college.  At the time, Kimberly was organizing fundraisers for MS  - and one of the fundraisers happened to be selling cheesecakes. Kimberly had such a great success during the fundraisers that she was encouraged to start her own business selling cheesecakes.  In 2008, Kimberly began the cheesecake business and in a matter of months she started to include more desserts. Kimberly is a self taught baker, but has taken numerous classes to perfect her skills and learn new techniques.
