I visited my parents' house this weekend which is in the "country"... not really, but they have a neat little farmer's market next to a gas station by their house. We stopped in for some fruits and veggies... I walked out with 4 bags of veggies for 18 dollars. I'm talking like 15lbs of veggies (plus a loaf of pumpkin bread) for less than a Jackson.

·         Three green peppers (larger than a soda can) for $1.
·         Two eggplans (twice the size of the green peppers) for $1.
·         my favorite steal: TWO POUNDS of fresh, local zucchini for $1. 

Can I find deals like that at any local fruit stand/farmer's market?
